We come to your home, measure carefully, evaluate existing conditions, and ask about the result you want. Free, no obligation, and never a sales pitch. Most walkthroughs take 45 minutes to an hour.
We'll ask questions you might not have considered — orientation of the home, age and condition of surrounding elements, your timeline, whether insurance might cover any portion of the work. The goal is to understand the project, not to close on the spot.
Within a few business days, you get an itemized bid with a full materials list — every brand, every line item, every potential repair we noticed during the walkthrough. Pricing for optional work flagged separately so you can decide what's in scope.
We don't use high-pressure same-day pricing. The proposal is yours to take home, sit with, compare against other quotes, and ask questions about. We'll meet to discuss it if helpful, or you can review it and come back when ready.
Once we have a signed agreement, we lock a start window and stick to it. For most jobs we can typically start within 2–6 weeks of contract signing, depending on the season and material lead times. Custom orders sometimes take longer; we'll be honest about timing.
Throughout the project you'll know who's on-site when. Standard work hours are 8a–4p weekdays. We keep the schedule moving — no week-long gaps between trades — and provide updates as we hit milestones. If something changes, you hear about it from us before you notice.
Job sites get cleaned every day during the build. Debris is hauled out, walkways stay clear, materials are stacked neatly. At completion we do a final cleanup, magnetic sweep for nails on any roofing work, and confirm the property is left in better condition than we found it.
The final walkthrough is unhurried. We demonstrate everything we installed, hand over warranty documentation, and confirm you're satisfied before we leave. Any punch-list items get addressed within a week.
